Discovered a new village

I can't remember what this village is called but I just discovered it. There are lots of mechanical things around and some strange people I have never seen before. I hope I don't get lost. Is there anywhere in WOW where you can see how many points you need to level up? I feel like I have been on level five forever. Does it get harder to level once you get past a certain point?

Now Level 5

So I am now level Five in World of Warcraft. I hope to soon train my bear with the pet trainer if that  is possible. I still can't find any more of the beers I am supposed to be looking for. I had to go back to my original town because the foes in Dun Mough were too difficult and killed me. A wolf killed me and attacked me without any warning. Has this happened to anyone else? I had to resurrect myself and my bear at the graveyard. Does anyone know where to find the other beers I need? 

Adventures in WOW this week

I have completed many quests in WOW so far. I am still hunting for the beer for the Mountain Man's Wife. So far I have only found a pale ale...gross. Too bad we weren't looking for a summer ale, maybe that would give me more motivation...haha. I have recently discovered Dun Morogh and have yet to explore it throughly. I will probably get lost somewhere, oh well. I am currently at level four and my bear pet was killed for the first time today. I had to revive him and I thought that was a neat feature instead of hunting down medication. 

I am enjoying my time in WOW so far and will continue to complete quests. 

WOW

WOW,
this is my first week in WOW. I created two characters, one dwarf and one panda. I really wanted to play the panda but in order to play with my class I must be a dwarf;(. My dwarf is a warrior and has a pet bear who is not only cute but useful. When I entered the world there was a battle going on, it was scary. I'm not used to playing violent video games where you kill other characters.

Building and ART ISLAND

This week in Jokyadia grid I attempted to build some primitives. I was able to change the texture and build a small cone shape object. I also found the amazing ART ISLAND!!!! I visited the art museum there and took pictures of the color building that has info about color theory. I would love to have students make their own art museums of art they are interested in (HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE) and to have an alternative place to learn about art.

I'm excited for our in class meeting today and to learn more about the building techniques!!

Third week in Jokaydia grid

So this is my third week in the Jokaydia grid. I have successfully changed my hair color to all blond thanks to Esme's help. Before it was a mixture of brown and blond with large spikes coming out of the back. It looked very strange and the only thing that I had to do to fix it was put on a bald head from my inventory. I also made my first object (a pyramid), sat on a chair upside down, and turned a small section of the island into an office area complete with a dryer. I was also able to make my character REALLY large, but I decided to stick to the barbie type body.

This is my third day logging in to second life. So far I have adjusted my wardrobe to spiked hair, a leather jacket and ripped jeans. I look like a crazed biker. I have meet two friends, successfully teleported to the marlboro home based and saved the store site in my map. I have figured out how to talk to people, move around and fly. I have a long way to go to be more successful at this new program.
